About Standing Sushi Tiger

Standing Sushi Tiger is Vietnam’s first standing sushi bar, located at the entrance to Saigon’s vibrant Japanese district. Recognised by its bold yellow and signature tiger, the intimate space features high tables with no chairs, offering a quick and convenient way to enjoy traditional sushi at approachable prices. Open until 2:00 AM, Standing Sushi Tiger follows the rhythm of Lê Thánh Tôn, a Japanese quarter that stays lively late into the night.

Menu

The menu focuses on traditional Japanese sushi, with over 70 choices across sushi, sashimi, maki and gunkan. Ingredients are carefully selected from both Japan and Vietnam, with fresh produce chosen each day for its quality and flavour. Prepared at the counter, each dish is served fresh and quickly, with prices starting from just 10,000 VND, making traditional Japanese sushi easy to enjoy as part of everyday life.

Design Concept

Standing Sushi Tiger’s design is defined by its bold yellow and signature tiger logo, creating a youthful and energetic presence on the street. Handwritten Japanese dish names on individual paper cards cover the walls, adding a handmade touch to the space. The space is small and intimate, with high tables and no chairs, accommodating around 20 guests for a standing sushi experience. The standing format keeps the space open and social, making it easy to move around, enjoy sushi and chat with friends.

Located at the entrance to Saigon’s Japanese town, Sushi Tiger was among the early standing sushi bars in the area, bringing a brighter and more lively presence to the neighbourhood.
